Commonly found in exhaust fan duct work and boiler flue exhaust.  They open when airflow (differential pressure) is present and closes when there is no differential.  Made of Galvanized Iron, aluminum or stainless steel.  Available in single blade or multi-blade system, square or round versions.  Can be with flanged type or non-flanged type.
